I heard this on the radio on the way home last night at 1am. And man, I knew everything she was talking about. I suppose these feelings are things all dancers share, especially ones who have gone on to other things. Man oh man.. then I heard the Nutcracker music. And godammit it brought be back. I felt like I was 13 again, and backstage, hearing things get quiet and the orchestra begin. It was so fucking magical. I sure do miss it all.
